TYLER - Eexperts say wild hogs are not just an issue for farmers and ranchers anymore. The Texas Agriculture Commissioner says feral hogs have already made their way into urban areas.
The commissioner says nearly 250 feral hogs were captured in Irving, a suburb of Dallas, since October.
One East Texas hog trapper says this is only the beginning of a big problem.

I remove hogs for free with traps and/or trained dogs. References are available. earlisbubba2 @ gmail . com
On two occassions over the last three months I have witnessed feral hogs on both sides of the Grande Blvd. extension just west of Old Jacksonville Road. Ugly critters.....
What happened the the decision to shoot them from helicopters? These feral hogs are nothing but a menace. They literally tore up my yard and it took the better part of a year to get it back into shape. That's nothing compared to what the farmer and rancher has to deal with. They lose their hay meadows and so not only the fertilizer is high, to replace hay is no cheap process either. If everyone wasn't so paranoid about guns and hunting we wouldn't havee this problem.
