SWAN, Texas – Smith County Sheriff’s Deputies say a feud between neighbors led to murder Tuesday.

Officials say Gilberto Ontiveros shot and killed Martin Valle on FM 3271 in Swan.

Officials say Ontiveros drove up to Valle while he was at his mailbox. Deputies say that is where they started arguing and Ontiveros fired multiple shots at his neighbor.

Ontiveros later turned himself in to Tyler police.

He is being held on a $750,000 bond.
