Candidates can file through Dec. 15th

Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News is reporting; lawsuits might've slowed candidates filing for office, but it's on now.

Filing for candidacy for the 2012 Democratic and Republican primary elections will begin Monday and continue until 6 p.m. on Dec. 15.

Re-drawing of congresional lines by the republican-controlled legislature and following suits slowed the election process.
