WHITEHOUSE - A fire forces a family out of their house on Rhones Quarter Road this afternoon.

It happened at the Brookwood Mobile Home Park.

Fire investigators say something on the stove caused the fire.

by the time they got there, a neighbor had already gone in and put out the fire.

There was minor damage to the kitchen cabinets, and only one member of the family was injured.

"Their little dog had a little smoke inhalation and we used a pet mask to give it some oxygen. It looks like it's recovering," Firefighter Hector Noonyez says.
