Longview, TX — Longview Firefighters and the Longview Fire Marshal is reminding everyone to check their smoke detectors and have one installed if you do not already have one.
Other fire safety tips from the Fire Marshal:
Change your batteries twice a year
Check your fire extinguisher
Make sure your address is visible on your mailbox, house or curb.
Practice your escape route.
If you live in Longview and do not have a smoke detector you can contact the Longview Fire Department for one.
