WINONA - The annual community-wide 4th of July celebration for the Winona area will be Wednesday, July 4th, beginning at 6:00 pm. It will be held at the Winona High School Baseball/Softball complex on Wildcat Drive, one block off of FM 16 in Winona. Fireworks show will begin at 9pm.

This is an annual event hosted by First Baptist Church of Winona. Pastor Tony Watson says the church looks forward to presenting this each year. "This annual event was begun more than 10 years ago by our church and we have embraced continuing the tradition. It has taken different slightly different shapes over the years but it is always an event that includes a lot of fellowship and is capped off by one of the greatest fireworks shows you will find," said Watson.
