Five arrested on meth charges in Diboll
AS REPORTED IN THE LUFKIN DAILY NEWS:
Five people were arrested on methamphetamine charges in Diboll Wednesday as the result of a joint effort between the Department of Public Safety and the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office.
DPS and ACSO were monitoring the Diboll Inn on U.S. Highway 59 south Wednesday afternoon when they saw accused meth dealer Terry Loving and his girlfriend, Lyndsey Miller, 20, come out of a motel room and leave, according to ACSO narcotics investigator Sgt. Allen Hill. Both Miller and Loving had been out of the Angelina County Jail on a $50,000 bond for meth charges stemming from a November 2009 bust.
“We had been watching them for a while,” Hill said.
A DPS trooper pulled Terry Loving over and arrested him and Miller on charges of engaging in organized criminal activity. Miller was also charged with possession or transport of certain chemicals with intent to manufacture.
