January 30, 2009 - 5:23pm
TYLER - It's the peak of the flu season, and there are already reports of it here in East Texas.
Northeast Texas Public Health District Officials say, there've been more reports in the last week.
They say, the areas hit the hardest are in Smith County and surrounding areas, and they expect an increase.
But, there are ways to prevent the sickness.
Shawn Clifford with the Health District says, "It's not too late to get a flu shot. We still encourage people to see your provider and get a flu shot. "
Experts say, the most common flu symptoms are fever, fatigue, coughing and achiness over your entire body.

Since they came out with a cure for Polio and measles mumps and rebellia. why can't they come out with a Cure for the Flu you know 1 shot and thats it
