Food Fast robbery near UT Tyler's campus

The Food Fast near the 4000 block of University Boulevard, near the University of Texas at Tyler was robbed early Saturday morning around 4:30 a.m.

According to Tyler Police Patrol Sgt. Daniel Richardson, the clerk of the Food Fast store stated that he was taking the trash out when an unknown black male approached him. The suspect pointed a black handgun at the clerk and ordered him inside. Once in the store, the suspect took an undetermined amount of money and then fled the scene .

The clerk was not  injured. The suspect was described as a 6’0’’ tall, thin black male. He was wearing a red hoodie, dark pants, red shoes and black backpack. At this time there is no further information pertaining to the case. This incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information regarding the above case is encouraged to contact the Tyler Police Department.

To all newcomers to Tyler. This media outlet will NOT allow the truth to be told of the extremely high crime rate associated with our UT@Tyler campus area. This particular convenience store has been robbed many times ALWAYS by blacks, but it is an inferred wrong to state this fact publicly.
