Fort Hood shooter's family releases statement
Here is a statement by Nader Hasan, cousin of Nidal Hasan, e-mailed from a spokeswoman for the family:
"As Nidal Hasan's first cousin, and because his parents are no longer alive, I wanted to issue a statement on behalf of my family. We are shocked and saddened by the terrible events at Fort Hood today. We send the families of the victims our most heartfelt sympathies.
We, like most of America, know very few details at this time. Here is what we do know about our cousin. Nidal was an American citizen. He was born in Arlington, Virginia, and raised here in America. He attended local high schools and eventually went on to attend Virginia Tech.
We are filled with grief for the families of today's victims. Our family loves America. We are proud of our country, and saddened by today's tragedy. Because this situation is still unfolding, we have nothing else that we are able to share with you at this time."

Nobody blames the family. I personally blame the army. They had they guy being surveilled for internet associations with suicide bombers. Once again political correctness has cost American lives. When is this country going to wake up and take our country back. We don't owe anybody anything. If anything at all the rest of the world should be sending us thank you notes on a daily basis for all we have given.
This administration is a freaking joke. They need to go asap.

2 weeks agoI wonder how many of the 42 injured and/or killed were Concealed Handgun License holders and, beind law-abiding soldiers, left their handguns off post? These gun-free zones are a joke. Schools, military posts, etc...are the most susceptible to these types of attacks. The murderers know that they will have free reign on unarmed people until law enforcement shows up. Unfortunately, by that time, dozens have been slaughtered.

2 weeks agoI don't blame the family. This guy was a suicide bomb waiting to happen. The army knew he had problems, but God forbid they should address the problems of a muslim. They might hurt his feelings.
