Rendon faces three counts of attempted capital murder

The Houston Chronicle is reporting; A central Texas man is facing attempted capital murder charges after allegedly shooting a police officer during a traffic stop, then leading authorities on a high-speed, multi-county chase.

Fredericksburg police officer Bradley Durst stopped a car around 1:40 a.m. Saturday. As the officer approached the vehicle, police say Robert Rendon, 31, fired multiple shots, hitting Durst twice.
