FRESH electric car charger: first in East Texas

Brookshire's FRESH in Tyler now has the first ever level two electric car charger in East Texas.  For Earth Day, officials charged a Chevy Volt with the machine.  Take a look.

Meanwhile, Natasha Petrov struggles to wrestle her autistic child into the government approved carseat hardly able to fit over the battery compartment of her electric Prius. She is late for the appointment with the UN doctors who will determine if her child's autism is the result of lithium contamination stemming from improperly disposed of batteries or from mercury released by a faulty scrubber on the lignite power plant near her home. Inside she knows, going "Green" is a clean dream.

I wonder if I can convince my apartment complex to install one somewhere on the property... Not necessarily a free one of course (you can buy them with credit card readers)... being able to charge at home is the only thing stopping me from getting a Nissan Leaf.
