Fundraiser Held to Commemorate Slain Teacher

TYLER - Friends and family gathered tonight to remember and celebrate the life of John Tyler teacher Todd Henry.

A fundraiser was held at the VFW building in Tyler to raise money for the scholarship fund honoring Mr. Henry who was killed a week and a half ago, allegedly by a student.

Mr. Henry played music across East Texas including with the Ricky Earl band who put together the fund raiser.

Band members say tonight was a continuation of his memory and a chance to raise some money.
