Thursday night in Coffee City, 19 year old Tiffany Hurd was kidnapped by Jackie Guthrie. Hurd's best friend, Chantel Barrett was murdered.

Barrett lived in Tyler and was a member of the 2012 John Tyler High School Class.

The visitation for Chantel Barrett will be Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the chapel of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson.

Funeral Services for Chantel will be on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Henderson.

Barrett's interment will be at Shiloh Cemetery following the funeral service.
