Garrett Sanders is live at Junior College World Series with Dr. Tim Drain

Dr. Tim Drain brought the Junior College World Series to Tyler.

The Tyler Junior College Athletic Director spoke with KETK's Garrett Sanders Wednesday before the TJC Apaches' national championship game.

Dr. Drain said ten of TJC's 11 teams have finished in the top ten nationally this school year.

Four Tyler Junior College teams finished as runners-up nationally.

Tonight at Mike Carter Field in Tyler, the Apaches will try to win their second national baseball championship.

The #2 TJC team will play #1 Cumberland County College at 7:00.

The Cumberland Dukes are from New Jersey and are making their first appearance in the Junior College World Series.

The Tyler Junior College Apaches are making their fourth appearance in the World Series since 2007.

TJC won it then.

Tonight, the Apaches will try to win it again.
