George H.W. Bush Library celebrates 25 years
The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum at Texas A&M University is marking a milestone.
They are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the start of George H.W. Bush's presidency.
A series of events, including panel discussions, kicked off Friday and will continue into the weekend.
A new statue of Bush was unveiled on Friday with an introduction by his Vice President, Dan Quayle.
The statue stands 8 fee tall in the Barbara Bush Rose Garden.
Bush's White House Chief of Staff, John Sununu is among those taking part in the panel discussions at the event.
