Longview, Tx — KETK has confirmed Gerard Cace, owner of Longview's famous Johnny Cace's Seafood & Steakhouse, has died of an apparent heart attack.

At around 2:30 Wednesday, Mr. Cace suffered a heart attack while on a fishing trip in Alexandria, Louisiana, according to restaurant employees.

Mr. Cace was 59.
