Tyler Police have confirmed they have located the car in connection with a bank robbery off Loop 323 that occurred Tuesday morning.

According to the Tyler Police Department, the crime took place at an Austin Bank near the intersection of SSW Loop 323 and Robertson Road at around 10:15 a.m.

Around 10:10 a.m., police received an alarm call from the bank. Upon arrival the suspects were described as three armed black males believed to be in their 30's. They were wearing dark clothing, torn t-shirts covering their faces and hoods. The getaway car was a beige Ford and was found abandoned at Carden Lane and Briton Avenue. Police now believe the suspects switched cars and are now in a gray Nissan Altima and a red Dodge Stratus. They are believed to be armed and dangerous.

Police tell KETK -- as of now -- there is no connection to the Austin Bank robbery that occurred Monday in Gregg County or the Capital One Bank robbery yesterday in Tyler.

Anyone with information about the suspects involved in this crime is urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833). Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.

KETK will provide you with more details as they are made available.
