Gilmer and Bullard will be in a new district 5-4A.

The buckeyes and the Panthers will be joined by Canton, Melissa, Emory Rains and Nevada Community.

Gladewater and Spring Hill will be in the new 6-4A.

The Bears and the Panthers will be joined by Atlanta, Pleasant Grove, Center and Taum.

Does the UIL even "think" about travel expenses when they make these alignments? Instead of having Center in District 6, why didn't they put Gilmer in that district? It makes MUCH more sense, but then again..., we are talking about the UIL! LOL! I won't even mention the revenue lost by Gilmer playing in a district with teams so far away. Most of the road stadiums won't hold enough for Gilmer fans, let alone none of these teams will even come close to filling Buckeye Stadium. Just NOT GOOD!
