GoBus is a rural transportation system in East Texas, but some cities, who have been using the service for years, are now too big, to qualify.
Gladewater, White Oak and Clarksville City are among that list, leaving nearly 100 people with no way to get around.
New changes from U.S. Census Bureau no longer classify those three cities as rural, that means there will be no more funding to operate the GoBus program.
ETCOG Transportation Director John Hedrick says stopping service is something they've been trying to avoid.
"We've held on as long as we could..not wanting to leave our customers stranded..but we got to the point where we just had to address it ..and we can't continue to provide the service without being funded for."
Etcog officials say they're trying to find other ways to provide public transportation in those cities so residents aren't left stranded.
