Gohmert Talks About Bush's Legacy

January 18, 2009 - 6:52pm
TYLER - As President Bush wraps up his final term in office, we wanted to know how East Texas lawmakers feel his legacy will be remembered.
U.S. Congressman Louie Gohmert, who represents parts of East Texas, tells us how he thinks President Bush will be remembered.
His comments may surprise you.
He said, he's disappointed President Bush will be remembered by the 700 billion dollar bailout plan.
He went on to say, he really likes President Bush, but feels he got bad advice from Henry Paulson.
Congressman Gohmert also tells us, he's afraid that the high cost of the bailouts will set a precedent for even more expensive government spending in the future.
