Budding star from ETX advances on NBC's 'The Voice'
Tyler (KETK) — Chapel Hill native Stevie Jo Rosenbalm took another big step forward on NBC's "The Voice" Tuesday night.
The East Texan squared off against Morgan Wallen in the second Team Usher battle round. The pair faced off to One Direction "Story of My Life," where Stevie Jo made a good impression on the judges.
"Your technique, I love it. It's pretty evenly matched. If it helps you at all, I think I'd give my vote to Stevie Jo," said Judge Blake Shelton.
Ultimately, the superstar singer chose the East Texan.
"For the winner of this battle, Stevie Jo," said Usher.
The budding musician will make his next appearance on KETK at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8.
