Jacksonville native to sing 'God Bless America' at Rangers' Opening Day

Arlington, Texas (KETK) — Jacskonville native Neal McCoy is slated to sing "God Bless America" during the seventh inning stretch at the Texas Rangers' Opening Day. The Rangers announced his appearance on March 19.
Also taking part will be the Fort Worth Symphony, who will perform the "Star-Spangled Banner" at Globe Life Park in Arlington.
The ball club's 43rd season opener is sold out against the Philadelphia Phillies. The game starts at 12:05 p.m. CT.
Special Assistant Greg Maddux, of San Angelo, will throw out the first pitch to Rangers pitching coach and brother Mike Maddux.
