Lufkin, TX — A Lufkin sex offender accused of capital murder in the Dec. 2010 beating death of his then-girlfriend’s 3-year-old son was among 48 indictments handed up by an Angelina County grand jury this week.

Kerry Jock Woodard, 29, was indicted on a capital murder charge in connection with the Dec. 2010 incident in which Zi’Keishun “Zi” Lane was left in Woodard’s care while the mother, Valerie Mosby, was at work.
