Longview, TX — Balloonists participating in the first competition of this weekend's Great Texas Balloon Race are soaring skyward. They have received the locations of their targets, and those are good spots for fans to see the action. Here's a look:

Target 1: Near H.G. Mosley and Loop 281 by the old skateplex.

Target 2: Hawkins Parkway between St. Andrews Drive and Grace Creek.

Target 3: On the west side of North Judson Road at Hill Street.
