Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott will be making a stop in Tyler, Wednesday morning.

Abbott will host a "Meet and Greet" at Loggins Restaurant, located at 137 South Glenwood Boulevard, to discuss his plan if elected Governor of Texas.

Shortly after taking office, Abbott established a Cyber Crimes Unit to arrest criminals who use the Internet to prey upon children; a Fugitive Unit to arrest convicted sex offenders who violate their parole; and an expanded Medicaid Fraud Control Unit to crack down on elder abuse and waste of taxpayer dollars. Since taking office, General Abbott has collected more than $28 billion in child support for Texas children.

Greg Abbott was reelected as the 50th Attorney General of Texas on November 2, 2010. Prior to his election to three terms as Attorney General, Greg Abbott served as a Justice on the Texas Supreme Court and as a State District Judge in Harris County.

A native Texan, Attorney General Abbott was born in Wichita Falls and raised in Duncanville. After graduating from The University of Texas with a B.B.A. in Finance, he received his law degree from Vanderbilt University. Shortly after graduating from law school, he was partially paralyzed by a falling tree while jogging. He and his wife, Cecilia, a former school teacher and principal, have been married for 31 years. They live in Austin with their daughter, Audrey. He is an avid sportsman and hunter.

Then where is the $26,000 that my ex-husband is behind in child support? He has not paid a penny in five months and all the state of TX will do is send him reminder letters...

"Since taking office, General Abbott has collected more than $28 billion in child support for Texas children."

Greggy, Isnt it time to report on how many children and fathers you have helped to destroy? Where are the stats Greg on teen age pregnancy and juvenile delinquency due to your assisted subversion of the parent-child relationship?
