The Paladin Luxury Apartments will be breaking ground this week in Longview.

The 220 unit complex will be located on the extension of Hawkins Parkway between Highway 259 and Tryon Road.

The apartment's developer, Kennis Ketchum, of Portfolio Development said they chose the site because of its central location and walkability to many amentities.

"Residents at Paladin will be able to easily walk to shopping, dining, and entertainment, plus have convenient access to several major thoroughfares and employment centers," said Ketchum.

She says the gated complex will have an extensive list of attractive features including attatched garages, decorator light packages, spacious patiors, a state of the art fitness center, resort style pool, and dog park.

BBL Builders will be the general contractor on the project, and the land was brokered by Andy Bergfeld of Bergfeld Realty.

The first of the 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units are projected to be available for lease in the spring of 2014.
