Group leaves Longview for Glenn Beck speech
LONGVIEW - Several East Texans along with other Americans are heading to Washington D.C. this weekend to "restore honor" to America.
Fox News and talk radio host Glenn Beck will headline the weekend event that will test the strength of the conservative grassroots movement that remains an unpredictable force in the country's politics.
Around 100 Texans left Longview Thursday afternoon by bus to travel to the rally.
Those going to D.C. hope to have their voices heard.
With Sarah Palin speaking, the event is expected to draw over 100,000 people.
