TYLER - It's probably one of the last things on your mind. You go to work, get through your day, and come home to find winds from a storm earlier in the day have left your gutters full of debris.
James Wilhite of Wilhite Landscaping says if you're not keeping an eye on things you could be heading for some major home issues. As time passes, gutters naturally get clogged with branches and leaves if they're not tended to.
"A gutter overflowing with debris doesn't have a chance to operate properly. The water backs up perhaps even comes in the house, but at the very least, it backs up on to the fascia which is what it was built to protect."
