Hallsville and other school districts asked to pay back "Robin Hood" money

School districts contacted by the Texas Education Agency in July
for having "Robin Hood" outstanding balances. The money was
either past due or due by the end of August for 2009-2010. Only
districts that had not paid more than half of what they owed were
cited for 2009-2010. The TEA says most have since paid.
Blackwell - $1.1 million for 2009, $2.9 million for 2010. Total:
$4 million.
Brazosport - $784,314 for 2010.
Bushland - $330,924 for 2010.
Carroll - $107,220 for 2009.
Carthage - $2.2 million for 2009, $12.3 million for 2010. Total:
$14.5 million.
Columbus - $14,051 for 2010.
Darrouzett - $576,389 for 2010.
Decatur - $51,862 for 2009.
Devers - $536,738 for 2009, $1.1 million for 2010. Total: $1.6
million.
Dew - $665,935 for 2009.
Deweyville - $6,349 for 2009.
Divide - $34,763 for 2009, $70,947 for 2010. Total: $105,710.
Evadale - $193,155 for 2007.
Garner - $9,018 for 2009, $325,094 for 2010. Total: $334,112.
Gary - $9,497 for 2009.
Glasscock County - $85,279 for 2009.
Granbury - $2.4 million for 2010.
Grapeland - $13,080 for 2010.
Hallsville - $1,2 million for 2008, $7.3 million for 2009.
Total: $8.5 million.
Highland Park - $1.7 million for 2009.
Hull-Daisetta - $1,194 for 2010.
Hunt - $46,510 for 2009.
Johnson City - $2,424 for 2009.
Marble Falls - $2.5 million for 2010.
Matagorda - $5,361 for 2009, 781,734 for 2010. Total: $787,095.
McMullen County - $362,333 for 2009.
Plains - $44,894 for 2009.
Pringle-Morse - $28,155 for 2009.
Prosper - $142,686 for 2008.
Refugio - $8,412 for 2010.
Richards - $335,516 for 2010.
