Hallsville ISD superintendent, board agree to seperate

Hallsville, TX — Hallsville ISD Superintendent Greg Wright will resign as leader of the district.
Wright took a personal leave of absence on April 11 after the district's montly board meeting.
During Tuesday nights special meeting the board approved a voluntary resignation of Wright and the district.
The resignation will be effective June 30, 2011.
Below is a statement released by the school district:
"By mutual agreement, Hallsville Independent School District has accepted the voluntary resignation of Superintendent Greg Wright effective June 30, 2011. The employment relationship between the Board and Mr. Wright was resolved to all parties’ mutual satisfaction. The Board and Mr. Wright have decided to go in different directions. Mr. Wright enjoyed his time serving HISD and the Board appreciates Mr. Wright’s service to the District."
