HALLSVILLE — Two agencies have been called to the Hallsville Police Department to review the department’s policy and procedures, and a third will be reviewing financial documents in April.

The agencies are being brought in a month after the Hallsville City Council voted 3-2 to reinstate Police Chief Greg Scott, Sgt. Mack Fuller and officer T.C. Livingston, who Medrano terminated Dec. 28 for policy violations.

Hallsville Mayor Jerri Medrano said the Texas Police Chiefs Association will be in today to do a management study on the department, while a consulting company continues auditing the department’s evidence room.
