Body found outside restaurant

Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting;  Sheriff's deputies found the victim in an apparent fatal shooting while on patrol in northwest Harris County, officials said.

The deputies found a man's body about 1 a.m. Monday outside a restaurant in the 4100 block of West FM 1960. He was dead from what appeared to be gunshot wounds, authorities said.

The motive for the fatal shooting remains under investigation, sheriff's officials said later Monday.
