Harrison County Sheriff’s Office gets new K-9

Harrison County — The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office got a new member this past week.
Max, a 2-year-old yellow Labrador retriever trained to detect and track narcotics, will join Corporal Brandon Headrick on the job and in Headrick’s home.
Max came to the sheriff’s office through a program partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor, Laredo Job Corps. Specific dogs are trained at the Laredo facility and paired with handlers.
