Harvest, Stomp, and Drink some Wine

BULLARD - Wine lovers were in Bullard Saturday to attend the Kiepersol Estates Harvest Festival and Grape Stomp.

Attendees we spoke with say there was a lot to celebrate

Each year just as summer turns to fall the wine makers at Kiepersol Estates in Bullard are busy harvesting their grapes.

But after all the grapes are cut from the vine and put into stainless steel tanks to begin fermentation, its time to celebrate.

That's exactly what they did Saturday.

"It's just a day after harvest when we say thank you and share that thanks with everybody and let everybody come and enjoy and see the vineyards," Owner Pierre de Wet says.
