Evacuation lifted after large fire

TYLER — Hawkins tire fire is contained and under control. The evacuation is over and it is safe for residents to come back to Hawkins and school will resume tomorrow.

Officials were worried about the toxic fumes released into the air yesterday but EPA said "it was at its worst yesterday."

Officials are still unsure on how the tire fire started but they are not ruling out arson.
