Heavy Storms Cause Damage in Longview

LONGVIEW - Early morning storms swept through East Texas Friday.

Some say it was a tornado, some say it was just the wind.

Whatever it was, there was some serious damage in Longview.

The National Weather Service has not confirmed any tornadoes from the storm.

Officials there do say winds reached between 60 and 75 miles per hour, that's the same as a tropical storm.

They say the straight line winds could have been enough to cause all the damage.
