TYLER, TX (KETK) - — Tuesday the people of Henderson will decide whether or not they want to have alcohol sold within their city limits.
There are a few private clubs that sell alcohol, but members of "Henderson First", say that opening up a local option for businesses will help the local economy. They say too many people in Henderson are going to neighboring towns.
But they're many in the area that have a very different view of the issue.
And this will all be settled on tuesday.
Early voting began on October 24, but tomorrow is the official day for city residents to cast their ballots.
KETK will have the results of this election, when they come in after voting tomorrow.

this election passed, so those people who are concerned about drivers going to "the line" to buy booze and "popping the top" or drinking and driving to or from there can rest easy know that the easier the access, the less likely a DWI or alcohol fatality will occur since the regular or social drinker can get what the need on the easy and get back to the house.
