Henderson man arrested for copper thefts

On May 8, 2011, at 5:45 p.m., a Longview Police Department Officer noticed a suspicious vehicle in the area of Mobberly Avenue and Humble Street.

The vehicle fit the description of a vehicle that had previously been used in several copper and other metal thefts in Longview.

Officers made contact with the driver, identified as Danny Wayne Milam 29, of Henderson.

After further investigation, Officers determined that Milam had stolen copper, underground tank covers, and other items from several area locations.

He was arrested for Felony Theft and Driving While License Suspended.
