cr 455 from1253 (jamestown hwy) and cr 452 (dallas shreveport rd) had creek overflow making it very dangerous to pass. i turned around as did several others. the roads always flood there and the county wont fix the problem.

Not sure if it is technically closed, but FM 858 was flooded at Cream Level Creek this morning as of 7:45. I used 1653 as an alternate route, and it was clear at that time. So according to my experience, the statement above is exactly backwards (1653 closed and 858 passable). However, there were a LOT of areas on 1653 that looked very close to coming over the road, so it may have been engulfed since I went through. You might consider going way out of the way and taking 2909 from/to Canton.
