Longview — The Historic Preservation Commission meets at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

The commission will consider adoption of by-laws and conduct a hearing to consider amending Article 26 Historic Preservation section of the City of Longview zoning ordinance for compliance to standards recommended by the Texas Historic Commission in order to apply for certified local government status.
