Hiway 80 Rescue Mission and The Downtown Gathering, Church of Christ of Erwin St, have partnered together to help serve the homeless and needy of Smith County area.

Below are dates and times of the services that will be provided by Hiway 80 Rescue Mission in the Tyler area for the homeless and needy this Christmas.

December 23rd- Lunch and Adult gift handouts at the Church of Christ Benevolence Center, 215 Bonner St Tyler, TX 75707. Meal will be served at noon. We are in need of adult gifts such as hats, gloves,personal items, and scarves. Those things can be dropped off at The Downtown Coffee Lounge: 200 West Erwin St. Tyler, TX 75702 or at Hagen's Lighting: 4017 Broadway Tyler, TX 75701

December 25th- Christmas Dinner at the Church of Christ Benevolence Center. Meal served at 6pm for the homeless and needy of Tyler.

Hiway 80 Rescue Mission has served the homeless since 1955 in the Longview area and have now been invited by a group of Tyler citizens (Rescue Mission for Tyler Committee) to serve the Tyler community.
