Homicide investigation in Gregg County; one dead, one injured

 The name of the man involved the the homicide in Gregg County Saturday night has been released.

Our news paper partners The Longview News-Journal is reporting that 36-year old Jaime Lopez Camposano, is charged with the murder of a 17-year old girl.

The shooting happened just after 7:30 Saturday night at a house in the 100 block of Gamel Road in Gregg County.

Gregg County Sheriff's office say 17-year old Jacklyn Flores and her 33-year old mother were shot multiple times by the mother's boyfriend, Camposano, with a .22 rifle following a domestic dispute.

Flores was shot in the head, while her mother was shot multiple times in the back.

Both were taken to a local hospital where Flores died. Her mother was treated and later released.

Camposano ran from the scene, but was later found and arrested in Upshur County.

He is charged with murder and driving while intoxicated.
