Longview — It’s EMS Appreciation Week in Longview, as proclaimed by Mayor Jay Dean during this past week’s City Council meeting.

On Wednesday, Longview Regional Medical Center honored all area EMS responders by sponsoring a hamburger cookout at the hospital — something LRMC has done for more than 13 years.
