Hospitalized man uses tracking feature to locate phone stolen by caretaker

LUFKIN — A hospitalized man uses his phone's tracking feature to locate his device, which had been stolen by one of the hospital employees.
The man to police that his Apple iPhone had been taken from his Woodland Heights' hospital room, but that he had an application on his phone that would track its location.
The feature indicated that the stolen device was located at an apartment complex on the 1000 block of Ellis Ave.
Police learned that one of the hospital's employees lived in that particular complex, and had even taken care of the man.
The employee, Marciano Duro Casayuran, was found at the complex with the stolen phone.
He was arrested for Misdemeanor B Theft and was booked into the Angelina County Jail.
His bail is set at $1500.00.
