TYLER - You may think Saturday night's bad weather caused some of the days most bizarre car crashes, but instead, it was alcohol.

According to police, they got a call early this morning that someone ran into a house on Brookside Drive with a vehicle.

Police found the suspected truck and arrested this man, 29 year-old Lucas Freeman of Tyler.

Police say he was intoxicated.

That's not all. Police say around 5:00 Sunday morning they got a report that someone ran into Times Square Cinema.

When police arrived, they found 18 year-old Samuel Stevens committing acts of "disorderly conduct."

Damage to the cinema is estimated at about 20 thousand dollars.

Police say because Stevens was so intoxicated, they didn't have a motive for why he ran into the theater. In fact, he had to be carried away by police. He's being held on several charges including felony criminal mischief.
