Carnley help create treat bags for firefighters
Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; after watching coverage of a five-alarm fire that destroyed a Montrose apartment building, a Houston woman and her son decided they had to do something to thank firefighters who risk their lives every day.
"The day of the fire I was thinking they were putting out the fire all day long," said Lisa Carnley, owner of The Cajun Stop restaurant in Houston. "It would be cool to do something for them." She asked her 8-year-old son, Dylan, if he wanted to help and he said, "Sure."
