Houston man charged in death of man found headless
HOUSTON — Houston police have charged a 32-year-old man with murder in the death of a roommate whose dismembered body was been found outside a vacant house, with the head and an arm stuffed into a trash bag.
A Houston police statement says Noe Gerardo Morin remains in custody Monday accused of murdering 35-year-old Marlon Thomas.
Officers found the body Sunday after receiving a call. Detectives said in a news release that the trash bag was behind cinderblocks that supported the home. A chainsaw was next to the bag containing some of the remains. The remainder of the body, with a partially severed arm, was found in the backyard of a property nearby.
An autopsy has been ordered to determine what killed Thomas.
