Gunfire at S.E. Houston apartments

Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; a man was wounded in a shooting during a confrontation after a party at an apartment complex in southeast Houston early this morning.

The shooting occurred at 910 Redwood near Griggs about 1:15 a.m. Monday, according to the Houston Police Department.

The man, whose name has not been released, was rushed to Ben Taub General Hospital. He had been shot on the torso. Police did not release his condition but said he was alert and talking.
