HOUSTON (AP) - Many of the nation's elite marathoners will race
in Houston this weekend on the same course that will host next
year's U.S. Olympic trials.

Top U.S. marathoner Ryan Hall and 2009 champion Magdalena Lewy
Boulet headline the men's and women's fields for Saturday's U.S.
Half-Marathon Championships. Houston will host the men's and
women's U.S. Olympic trials in 2012, using the same 8-mile loop
route.

American Brett Gotcher leads the field for Sunday's Houston
Marathon. Last year's winner, Ethiopian Teshome Gelana, won't race
because a visa issue prevented him from entering the country.
